Our beloved athletic receptionist, Pam Stultz, is retiring. Pam has worked for Beech Grove for the past 19 years and has been with the athletic department for the last 12 years. Her dedication to the students and to our athletic programs has been unwavering. When Pam was asked what she loved most about her job she replied, “I just love sports and I love supporting the students. The best part was getting to know the students and their families through the years.” If you ever visit Pam’s office this is evident from the year and years of pictures and memorabilia hanging on her office walls. She has bulletin boards pasted with layers of photos of student athletes, families, and coaches.
Pam Stultz has been embedded in the Beech Grove community her entire life. She graduated from BGHS in 1976 and her 3 children (2 daughters and 1 son) were also BGCS students. She later coached both JV and varsity volleyball for BGHS for 10 years. After taking on the role of athletic department receptionist, she has been nicknamed the “Concession Queen”. Pam has put in countless hours to ensure that our athletic events run smoothly. Often, Pam would work an entire day in the office and then spend her evenings assisting with events. Her goal was to help make as much money as possible for athletics because she knew it would help lessen the students’ financial burden. Her dedication to our student athletes will be missed.
After retirement Pam is moving on to become a professional grandmother. We wish her the best, and look forward to seeing her around The Grove. THANK YOU Pam for all that you have done for this school and the student community.
