While we won’t be taking the fields, tennis courts, or track this year for spring sports, Beech Grove Athletics would still like to recognize our Spring Senior Student-Athletes for all of their hard work and dedication.  Beech Grove Athletics and your coaches want to thank you for your dedication to your respective sports and wish you nothing but the best moving forward.  Once a Hornet, Always a Hornet!
Name –  Payton Stanley
Spring Sport – Tennis, this was going to be my sixth year playing tennis and my third year playing varsity at the high school.
Other Sports/Activities -I’m in the National Honor Society and French Honor Society.
Plans for next year -I’m attending IUPUI in the fall to major in neuroscience and minor in French.
Favorite Subject – Biology
Favorite Teacher – Ms. Hermann
Favorite high school sports memories -My favorite sports memory is whenever we had a tournament because in between games we would lay out in the sun, talk, snack, and support each other as others were playing.
Favorite Movie -Any of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies
Favorite Food – Chocolate Covered Almonds
Favorite Animal – Elephants
Coach Katie Taft – “Payton has been a joy to have on the tennis team the past four years. She has always been coachable and kind to her coaches and teammates. We will miss you Payton!”
