Abby Stultz to Sign Letter of Intent

On Tuesday, December 10th Abby Stultz will be signing her letter of intent to attend Indiana University Northwest on a volleyball scholarship. The signing will take place at in the Hornet Training Center at 3:30.  The Beech Grove Community is so excited for Abby and happy to see that her hard work on the court

JV Girls Basketball Announces Cancellation of Game

The girls JV basketball game on Dec. 21st against Park Tudor has been canceled. Park Tudor does not have a JV team. The varsity Hornets will play at 12:30pm against the Lady Panthers.  

Hornet Swimmers Defeat Southport in Boys Action

The Beech Grove High School boys swim team started the season with a win over Southport on December 3rd by capturing 1st place in 9 of 12 events. The Hornets outscored the Cardinals by a score of 110 to 71. 1st place finishes were recorded by the following athletes: Allen Mayer      50 free  –  23.53

Change in Girls Swimming Schedule

The location for the swim meet set for next Tuesday at New Pal has been changed—Beech Grove will now host this event, Tuesday, Dec 10th at BGHS, 5:30 pm.

Grover The Hornet

Look out Boomer! Beech Grove High School has a new mascot running around at the home events named Grover the Hornet.  Grover was out-and-about at the last home basketball game getting his picture taken with all types of fans.

Wrestling Amps Up

The BGHS Wrestling team has a busy month ahead of them.  The men have been practicing and putting in work.  As a team, the boys recently finished 6th at the Circle City Classic with Evan Smiley and DeMonte Dawkins finishing 2nd and David Stonerock finishing 3rd.
