The boys had a tough loss against Decatur Central on Thursday night. While we had hopes for a win, we still had some stand out swims including 10 personal record times.
Janis Vuskalns took first in the 200 free and 100 fly as well as anchored a winning 200 freestyle relay team along with Shamar Gentle, Andy Galvez and Trent Eckstein.
Another first was captured by Galvez in the 100 free with DeSean Marion taking third.
Shamar Gentle also placed 2nd in the 50 Free. Other second place swims include the 200 Medley Relay team of Kacob Knapp, Gentle, Charles Neal and DeSean Marion, the 400 Free Relay team of Vuskalns, Eckstein, Galvez and Kayden Bourf.
Freshman Jacob Stevens earned himself three personal record times and our swimmer of the meet title.
Although we had many great swims on Thursday, the Hornets were missing a few key players in the line up and hope to have a full roster on Monday at Shelbyville.
