Even though the score didn’t go our way against Greenwood, the girls had some great swims!

The 200 Medley relay of Rachel Goldman, Hannah Roe, Allison Gearlds and Madison Stratton took second with Hanna Demeszuk, Inga Gaworek, Marina Martin, and Haylee Sayman taking fourth.

Ava Lantzer took 3rd in the 200 Freestyle with a PR time of 2:19.18

Kristen Lamb also PRed and took 5th.

Gearlds and Rebecca Lamb took 3rd and 4th, respectively, in the 200 IM.

Stratton took 3rd in the 50 freestyle.

R. Lamb and K. Lamb took 3rd and 4th, respectively, in the 100 butterfly.

Roe took 3rd place in the 100 freestyle.

Lanzter and Goldman took 2nd and 3rd in the 500 freestyle. Gaworek swam the event for the first time!

The relay team of Gearlds, Stratton, Roe and Lanzter took 2nd in the 200 freestyle relay.

Gearlds took 2nd in the 100 backstroke with a PR time of 1:13.90.

Goldman and Gaworek took 3rd and 4th, respectively, in the 100 breaststroke with a PR for Goldman.

The 400 freestyle relay team of Lanzter, Lamb, Lamb and Goldman took 2nd place to finish out the night.

Rachel Goldman took the Swimmer of the Meet award last night for powering through the 500 with a hurt shoulder and PRing in the breaststroke! She also stepped up and switched strokes with a teammate who was injured. Way to be a team player, Rachel!

The Lady Hornets are at home versus Bishop Chatard on Tuesday at 5:30. Come out and see them swim!
