The Lady Hornets swam a fun meet tonight! Mooresville treated our swimmers with treats from a “mystery bag”! They were wonderful hosts!

We started the night off with a 3rd place finish in the 200 medley relay with a team of Allison Gearlds, Hannah Roe, Rachel Goldman, and Madison Stratton.

We continued the evening with a 2nd place finish by Ava Lanzter in the 200 free and she PRed! Haylee Sayman also PRed in this event!

Gearlds swam a close race and placed 3rd in the 200 IM. She also placed 3rd in the 100 back.

Kirsten Lamb and Inga Gaworek both swam the 200 IM. Gaworek swam great for her first time ever swimming this tough event!

Goldman and Stratton places 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 50 free.

Roe swam a close race in the 100 free and placed 3rd.

Rebecca Lamb placed 3rd and had a PR for swimming the 500 free for the first time!

We continued with a 3rd place finish in the 200 free relay with a team of Gearlds, Stratton, Roe, and Lanzter. Rebecca Lamb swam a huge PR in her relay with a time of 26.68 seconds!

Lanzter had a close 3rd place finish in the 100 breast!

We finished the evening with a 2nd place finish in the 400 free relay, with a team of R. Lamb, K. Lamb, Goldman, and Lanzter.

Our swimmer of the meet is Madison Stratton who consistently shows up for her team even while battling a back injury. Madison is always willing to step up in a relay or where ever she is most needed for her team, even if she is hurting. Way to put we before me, Madison!
