The Lady Hornets had a great meet tonight! We fell short to New Palestine, but we continued to PR and swim our best.

We started out the meet strong with a 1st place finish in the 200 medley relay with a team of Madison Stratton, Hannah Roe, Allison Gearlds, and Kristen Lamb.

Rebecca Lamb swam the 200 free, placed 3rd AND got a PR!

Roe swam a great 200 IM finishing 1st!

Ava Lanzter had a fantastic swim in the 50 free finishing 1st and swimming a 29.87 for a PR! Stratton also swam a great race and placed 3rd.

Gearlds swam the 100 fly, placed 1st and had a PR! R. Lamb swam the 100 fly as well for the first time ever and placed 3rd!

Kristen Lamb had a PR and a 3rd place finish in the 100 free. Haylee Sayman also swam the 100 free and took 6 seconds off her time for a PR!

We had some first time swims in the 500 freestyle with Ava Lanzter placing 2nd and Marina Martin with a 5th place finish! Hanna Demeszuk also swam a hard race as well! Way to go!

The relay team of Gearlds, Stratton, Roe, and Lanzter swam a great 200 free relay placing 2nd!

Gearlds swam a close race in the 100 back and finished 2nd with a PR! Rachel Goldman, and Martin PRed in this event as well.

Roe lead the pack in the 100 breast with a 1st place finish and PR. Demeszuk set a PR as well.

In the final relay of the evening, the team of K. Lamb, Goldman, R. Lamb, and Lanzter placed 2nd! Way to go, girls!

Rebecca Lamb takes our Swimmer of the Meet award with her willingness to try new events and a solid PR time in the 200 freestyle! Congrats, Becca!
