The lady hornets had another great meet against Shelbyville and Heritage Christian. There was a great show of dedication and effort!
Hannah Roe had a 2nd place finish in the 200 free with Ava Lantzer coming in 4th with a PR time of 2:26.29.
Madison Stratton and Rebecca Lamb had a great 50 free with a 2nd and 3rd place finish respectively.
Roe continued to finish top 3 in her events with a 3rd place in the 100 fly.
Allison Gearlds swam predominantly unopposed for a first place finish in the 500 free.
Our relay team of Roe, Stratton, R. Lamb, and Gearlds placed 3rd in the 200 free relay with a team PR time of 2:01.26.
To end the night, Kirsten Lamb had a 2nd place finish in the 100 back in an extremely close race!
Rachel Goldman PRed in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:46.28.
Overall, it was a great meet and we are proud of our scholar athletes who put in the effort in the pool and then ran to the band performance immediately afterward! Way to go, girls!
Haylee Sayman takes our swimmer of the meet award. She has been consistently dropping time in all of her events since the beginning of season. Her hard work at practice is paying off!
