The Lady Hornets’ swim team were back in action Saturday. They placed 4th overall as a team. They competed very well and continued to get more PRs!
We started out with a great relay race in the 200 medley with a team of Kirsten Lamb, Ava Lanzter, Rachel Goldman, Madison Stratton.
Hannah Roe swam a great race for the 200 Free placing 5th overall. Marina Martin also swam the 200 free and dropped 6 seconds off her time for a new PR!
Stratton and Rebecca Lamb both swam a close 50 free and placed 1st and 3rd in their heat. Haylee Sayman had another great swim in this event by getting a new PR by dropping 3 seconds.
R. Lamb placed 6th overall in the 100 free. Inga Gaworek and Martin swam as well, both getting PRs!
Allison Gearlds placed 4th overall in the 500 free. Goldman also had a PR in this event breaking seven minutes with a 6th place finish. Hanna Demeszuk swam this event for the first time and did great!
The 200 free relay team of Roe, R. Lamb, Stratton, and Gearlds placed 4th overall!
K. Lamb, Demeszuk, and Sayman all had great swims in the 100 back. Sayman got another PR by dropping 10 seconds!
Lanzter, Goldman, Gaworek all had PRs in the 100 breast! Lanzter placed 6th overall.
The final 400 free relay with a team of Roe, R. Lamb, K. Lamb, and Gearalds placed 3rd in an exciting finish!
These girls just keep working hard and dropping time! They compete again tonight at home against New Pal.
