A strong rushing attack and very efficient passing game helped the offense control much of the game. As a team, the Hornets accumulated 431 total yards, 360 on the ground and 71 through the air. Terrice Pope rushed for 98 yards on 9 carries and one touchdown. Quarterback Jordan Reel led the team in rushing with 178 yards and a touchdown.
