Addy Corn: Single Season Home Run Record Holder
By Quinten Starks | Apr 20, 2026 3:20 PM
Addy Corn's softball season has started with a bang. She has been a force to be reckoned with at the plate, and she doesn't show any signs of slowing down. Last season as a freshman on the varsity squad, Addy tied the single season home run record by launching seven home runs across the outfield fence. This year, just ten games into the start of the season, Addy crushed her 7th and 8th home run against Warren Central on Thursday, April 16th. That performance put her on the record board with plenty of opportunities left in the season to add to the tally. In addition to Addy's home run record, she was recently named IndyStar Top Softball Player of the Week for March 31 – April 4. This came after a dominating performance where she racked up five hits, four RBIs, and four runs scored over two games. Offensively, Addy is showing no mercy to the opposition. Early into her sophomore season, Addy is batting .452 from the plate. She has 16 runs batted in, and has put her cleat print on home plate 13 times. Congratulations on a dominating performance thus far Addy. We are definitely #HornetProud, and we can't wait to see how the season ends up for this young and exciting BGHS Varsity Softball team. Go Hornets!
