A SEASON TO BE PROUD OF — THANK YOU, LADY HORNETS! The Beech Grove Lady Hornets’ historic postseason run came up just short Saturday afternoon, falling to Christel House 2-1 in the IHSAA Sectional Championship. While the final result wasn't what our Lady Hornets hoped for, this team has absolutely NOTHING to hang their heads about. They fought until the final whistle, gave everything they had on the pitch, and represented Beech Grove with pride, determination, and heart. Under first-year head coach Anna Caster, the Lady Hornets put together a memorable season, advancing all the way to the sectional championship game and coming within one victory of capturing the first sectional title in program history! The Lady Hornets finish the season with an 8-10 record, just ONE WIN away from tying the school record for most victories in a single season! From the opening match to the final whistle of the championship game, these girls continued to compete, grow, and prove what Beech Grove soccer is all about. To Coach Caster, the players, families, and everyone who supported this team throughout the season — THANK YOU! Thank you for the hard work. Thank you for the unforgettable moments. Thank you for representing the black and orange. Thank you for giving our community a postseason run to remember! The championship trophy may have slipped away this season, but the memories, accomplishments, and foundation built by this team are something to be proud of. The future is bright for Beech Grove girls soccer! Hold your heads high, Lady Hornets. You gave this community something special to cheer for, and we couldn't be prouder! THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES! 🖤🧡 GO LADY HORNETS! 🧡🖤
