This Wednesday, April 24th, Beech Grove High School will host the 2024 Marion County Basketball Coaches Association Senior All-Star Game. This is a special event that showcases some of the county's best high school senior basketball players. All proceeds from the game are donated to the Matt English Foundation as the event was created in his honor after his passing in 2018. Lawrence North's head coach, Chris Giffin, was selected as the head coach for the Owls (home team). Lawrence North was this year's Marion County tournament champion. On the visitor's side, Coach Adam Ballard from Franklin Central will lead the Comets. Coaches from the county schools select their top seniors to build the rosters for the two teams with several players having earned All-County honors. We'd also like to thank Ken Washam of the Indiana Officials Association for lining up our officials Luke Deering, John Coffey, and Herb Teal. We are looking forward to an exciting evening of basketball. We'd love to see you at Matt English Court on Wednesday evening cheering on Marion County's all-star seniors. Tip-off is at 7:00 pm.
