Beech Grove and five other central Indiana schools are founding the new Hoosier Legends Conference. The group recently released a statement explaining the meaning behind the logo and the conference name. The athletic directors from the six founding schools are challenging their students to "Be Legendary." This is not limited to their athletic performance, but also in their character and actions outside of athletics. All conference changes will go into effect for the 2025-2026 school year. Hoosier Legends Conference - "Be Legendary" The shape of the State of Indiana is in reference to our great state – The Hoosier State. The corn emblems are a tribute to the farmers of central Indiana. Every founding member school is represented within the pathway of the line of bricks across the state. The line of bricks themselves is a nod to Speedway and the rich tradition of racing our state holds. The name “Hoosier Legends Conference” is in honor of all the legendary individuals that have come from our founding schools and communities. Our mission is for our students to “Be Legendary” in their actions, behaviors, and accomplishments.
