This past Saturday the girls' cross-country team claimed the top spot in the Indiana Crossroads Conference meet. The race was hosted by Cardinal Ritter and held at Grand Martin Park. Aliegha Buendia, a junior at BGHS, placed second overall with a time of 22:08. Beech Grove had four runners place in the top ten. Sophomore, Lyla Muffler placed fourth with a time of 22:47. Abigail Webster (freshman) and Layla Cranfill (sophomore) came in at ninth and tenth place. Congratulations to the girls' cross country runners, Coach Keeley, and Coach Messer. The team has two more races before sectionals on October 19th.
