The Beech Grove Athletic Department welcomes a familiar face to lead the girls' volleyball program. Coach Maddy Beaver, the head coach of our boys' volleyball program for the past two seasons, will also lead our girls' program for the '25-26 season. Before coming to Beech Grove, Coach Beaver was the JV coach at Greenwood HS for two seasons, and before that coached the JV program at Triton Central. As a graduate of Triton Central, Maddy Beaver thrived in the middle-hitter position on the varsity volleyball team. She was a four-year all-conference player, county MVP, and team captain. Maddy also played collegiately at Goshen College. Coach Beaver is ready to hit the ground running at Beech Grove. Excited to bring a competitive edge back to the team, she plans to push her athletes to their full potential. Another key focus of Coach Beaver will be to continue investing in the youth volleyball programs and expanding the programs within the middle school and younger grades. Off the court, Coach Beaver is an avid reader. She loves a good murder mystery. She enjoys hanging with friends and family while spending time with her dog Bently. For boys and girls interested in playing volleyball, open gyms start on DEC. 9th. There will also be a Meet the Coach meeting on DEC. 6th in the cafeteria at the high school at 6:00 pm. We are thrilled to have Coach Beaver on the bench for our girls' program and we're already looking forward to next season. Go Hornets!
