Beech Grove Athletics Welcomes New Girls Head Tennis Coach, Jeda Howard Beech Grove Athletics is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jeda Howard as the new head coach for the Lady Hornets Girls Tennis Team! Jeda is no stranger to Beech Grove High School, having graduated in 2023 as a standout student-athlete. During her time as a Hornet, Jeda was a three-year varsity letter earner for the girls' tennis program and served as a team captain during her senior year. Her dedication, leadership, and passion for the sport made her an integral part of the program's success. Currently attending the University of Indianapolis, Jeda is pursuing a degree in secondary English education. She began her coaching career this past fall as an assistant coach for the Boys Tennis Team under Coach Knott, where she gained valuable experience and showcased her commitment to developing young athletes. Beech Grove Athletics is confident that Jeda’s knowledge of the game, leadership skills, and enthusiasm for coaching will inspire our Lady Hornets both on and off the court. Upcoming Call-Out Meeting for Girls Tennis The girls' tennis team will have a call-out meeting during lunch on Thursday. Coach Howard will be there to talk about the current event schedule, pre-season workouts, and more!
