The Beech Grove High School Athletics Department is excited to announce the hiring of Chance Strickley as the new boys' soccer head coach. Coach Strickley will bring a fresh sense of structure and cohesion to the program. With a strong background in athletics and education, Coach Strickley is ready to elevate the team to reach its full potential. A graduate of Princeton High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2019, Coach Strickley was a three-sport athlete, contributing to the varsity soccer, baseball, and football teams. He continued his athletic journey at Earlham College, where he was a four-year member of the varsity baseball team and played a key role on their 2022 conference championship team. He also holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Indianapolis (2025) and is a Teach for America 2023 corps member. Coach Strickley's coaching experience includes roles at Kova Sports in Alvarado, Texas, as a sports performance coach, and at Proforce Sports Performance in Cincinnati as a strength and conditioning intern. He is currently serving as an assistant coach on the Beech Grove High School baseball team. Coach Strickley believes that success is built on daily habits. His coaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of focus, discipline, and effort in all aspects of life, from sports to academics. He is dedicated to helping his athletes achieve their goals, whether big or small. Coach Strickley believes, “The way you approach the little things is the way you’ll approach everything…Whether in sports, school, or life, excellence isn’t about one big moment—it’s about consistently showing up and giving your best in everything you do.” Please join us in welcoming Coach Chance Strickley to the Hornet Athletics family. We look forward to seeing the positive impact he will bring to the boys’ soccer program and the continued growth of our student-athletes on and off the field.
