BGHS Track & Field had some exciting news on Tuesday. Two school records were broken on the same night at their meet against Cascade. Braylon Payne ran a 50.51 in the 400 meters. He's earned his place on the record board. There is conference, county, and sectionals coming up. We could see Braylon improve his record even more! Good luck Braylon and congratulations! In girls' track, our hard-working 4x800m team blasted their way onto the record board on Tuesday night. Aleigha Buendia, Lyla Muffer-Challis, Layla Cranfill, and Abby Webster pulled together to run a 10:22:23. Great job ladies! In the upcoming meets, there is a good chance these ladies could improve on their time. We can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds. GO HORNETS!
